    Overview:
    The HVAC Service Technician, reporting to the Operations Manager, is responsible for delivering high-quality service by conducting repairs, replacements, and preventative maintenance for commercial and industrial HVAC systems. This position requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and excellent customer service to ensure client satisfaction and system reliability. This position allows for continued opportunities for growth and advancement within the company.  Overtime opportunities available.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Analyze work orders, plan daily schedules, and conduct client site visits to assess HVAC needs.

    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to air conditioning and heating systems, including boilers, air handlers, fan coil units, cooling towers, pumps, fans, WSHP and package units.

    • Perform routine and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

    • Maintain safe work practices in compliance with OSHA Health & Safety and NFPA 70e standards.

    • Collaborate with the Preventive Maintenance Coordinator and Dispatch Team to prioritize and complete tasks efficiently.

    • Generate detailed service reports, documenting work processes and outcomes.

    • Safely operate service vehicles for daily tasks and travel to job sites.

    • Comprehend client requirements and provide informed recommendations to meet their HVAC needs.

    • Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma or GED.

    • 2-5 years of experience in HVAC service, repair, and maintenance of commercial systems.

    • Universal CFC/EPA certification.

    • Excellent oral and written communication skills for clear client interactions and report documentation.

    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, even in isolated areas.

    • Proficiency with hand tools, equipment, and testing devices needed for HVAC system work.

    • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

    • Ability to wear and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), such as dust masks, gloves, and eye/hearing protection.

    • Familiarity with computers and internet-based programs for completing required training.

    • Professional appearance and ability to wear a company uniform.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Regularly required to sit, stand, use hands to operate equipment, and communicate effectively.

    • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and apply up to 20 pounds of force frequently.

    • Must be able to climb ladders frequently and navigate construction sites while adhering to safety protocols.

    Overview:
    The Service Chiller Technician will focus on the repair, service and maintenance of all OEM chillers to include screw, reciprocating, centrifugal, Turbocor and heavy tonnage equipment. Experience in teardown and retrofitting is highly preferred. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of various heating and cooling systems in commercial and industrial settings. This position allows for continued opportunities for growth and advancement within the company. Overtime opportunities available.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Perform operations, repairs, replacements, and preventative maintenance on commercial and industrial air conditioning and heating systems, including chillers, boilers, air handlers, fan coil units, and related equipment.

    • Maintain and troubleshoot building mechanical systems, including water treatment systems and electrical controls.

    • Collaborate with the Dispatch Team to manage workload efficiently and meet service deadlines.

    • Ensure compliance with OSHA Health & Safety standards and NFPA 70e safety regulations while performing assigned tasks.

    • Produce accurate and detailed service reports promptly.

    • Understand and address customer needs, offering appropriate recommendations and solutions.

    • Foster strong relationships with customers, ensuring a high level of service and satisfaction.

    Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma or GED.

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintaining and installing similar commercial equipment.

    • Universal CFC/EPA Certification.

    • Proven ability to work independently, following both written and verbal instructions with minimal supervision.

    • Proficiency in handling hand tools, equipment, and testing devices essential for the role.

    • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

    • Ability to wear and utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), such as dust masks, gloves, and eye/hearing protection.

    • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with internet-based programs for completing required annual training.

    • Professional appearance and ability to wear the company uniform.
